School Board Members

Citizen oversight of local government is the cornerstone of democracy in the United States. School board members are locally elected public officials entrusted with governing a community’s public schools. The role of the school board is to ensure that school districts are responsive to the values, beliefs and priorities of their communities.

Board Meeting Agenda

Oklahoma law requires MVG Public Schools to post an agenda a minimum of 24 hours in advance, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and state declared holidays. 25 O.S. § 311, S.L.O. § 533.

Board Meeting Dates

Schools must notify the county clerk in writing by December 15 the times, dates, and places of all regular meetings for the following calendar year. 25 O.S. § 311, S.L.O. § 533.
