Before our Tigers take on Canton Friday night, Canton FFA will be hosting a Fish Fry & Chicken Strip Fundraiser!
We encourage all of our MVG fans making the trip to Canton to come hungry and support their FFA program!

HEROES NEVER STAND ALONE!
MVG Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon Week on Tuesday by reminding our students that even the smallest positive choices can make a BIG difference! 🌟
Students created a chain of positive choices, sharing ways they can show kindness, help others, work hard, and be a good friend. Each link represents a reminder that when we stand together, encourage one another, and make good choices, we become stronger!
❤️ Small Choices. BIG Impact.
💪 Together, We Are Stronger!

RED RIBBON WEEK – MONDAY!
Not All Heroes Wear Capes! 🌟
Today, our MVG Elementary students kicked off Red Ribbon Week by recognizing the everyday heroes who make a difference in their lives!
Students wrote special notes to someone who has made a positive impact on them. From family members and teachers to friends and community members, these heartfelt messages remind us that you don’t have to wear a cape to be someone’s hero! ❤️
We wanted to share some of these sweet notes and show just how much our heroes mean to us!
Being a hero starts with kindness, making good choices, and making a difference in someone’s life!

RESPECT: Take Care of What You Represent
Mountain View-Gotebo Schools belongs to all of us.
Our classrooms.
Our buildings.
Our athletic facilities.
Our buses.
Our equipment.
Our traditions.
These things are not someone else's responsibility to take care of.
They belong to our school and our community, which means we all have a responsibility to respect them.
Respect is more than saying "yes, sir" or "no, ma'am."
Respect is picking up trash instead of walking past it.
It is taking care of equipment instead of abusing it.
It is leaving a classroom, locker room, restroom, or cafeteria in good condition for the next person.
It is representing Mountain View-Gotebo with class whether you are wearing a Tiger uniform or simply wearing our school's name.
And it applies to adults too.
We should take pride in our school. We should speak constructively about it. When there is a problem, we should work to solve it rather than simply tear down the people trying to do the work.
We are not always going to get everything right.
But this is our school.
And if we want our students to be proud of Mountain View-Gotebo, then we all have a responsibility to take care of and respect what we represent.
Don't just say you are proud of MVG. Show it.
