Mrs. Lasley's 4th grade class made Candy Corn towers today. The group with the tallest freestanding tower at 4 3/4" was Emerson, Colbie, Oaklynn, Haizlee and Ahkeemah!

Yesterday as a part Red Ribbon Week activities, MVG 10-12th grade students participated in a presentation from CKTC’s Criminal Justice Instructor, Dustin Thurman. Mr. Thurman brought goggles that simulate three different levels of intoxication. The students were put through field sobriety tests. They were given the opportunity to learn statistics, the laws, and the negative effects of drinking and driving.

The Great Pumpkin dropped off a bunch of Pumpkin babies in Kindergarten. They are charged with caring for them until he returns. They must read to them, tuck them in, build cozy homes for them, measure them, weight them, feed them, and even hire a babysitter if they have to be unattended.

Good Morning! The 5/6th grade games at Ft. Cobb will be at 4pm today. We will leave school at 3:15pm. There will be TWO girls games and TWO boys games in this order....

All girls will be on the bench for both games but some will play the first game and some will play the second game. All boys will play in both games.
There is not a 3/4th grade game today!

Get Ready for Red Ribbon Week! Dress up days for all grades PK-12!!!
Red Ribbon Week began in 1985 following the murder of DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, who was killed while undercover in Mexico. In response to his death, his friend began a campaign for his funeral where people wore red ribbons, which later grew into a nationwide and international anti-drug campaign coordinated by the National Family Partnership.
