
Little Olympics schedule of events


Reminder


Our MVG Little Olympics is scheduled for next Thursday, May 8th. IF we get rained out that day, it will be moved to Wednesday, May 14. We will post an update next week.

The Carnegie Elementary track meet tomorrow has been cancelled due to rain. There is a chance it will be rescheduled for next week. We will know more on Monday and will update as soon as possible.

4th-12th Grade Academic Recpetion-2025
This evening MVG students in the 4-12th grade who maintained a 3.75 GPA or higer for the school year were honored with an awards assembly and reception.

MVG is still looking to hire the following positions. If you or someone you know are interested, please send us your information!
We offer a sign on bonus, Christmas bonus, retention bonus, free meals, smaller class sizes and much more!

MVG JH/HS students have been growing spider plants and they shared them with the teachers/staff today(Earth Day) as a thank you! Thank you Mrs.Carney & JH/HS Science Classes.

The softball games schedule for 4/21 have been canceled. The other team can't make it.

More PK Easter Week activities and finished the week with an egg hunt!!!











PK had an EGG-citing week! Their experiments included making Peep boats, tested if plastic eggs would float with different items in the middle, exploding dye experiment, egg stacking race, and Easter “Sundaes".

Kindergarten Egg Hunt!!!

Mrs. Payne needs volunteers to help at the food pantry tomorrow(April 18). We will leave school around 9:00 am and should return by 11:30. If your 7th-12th grader would like to help, please comment below or contact Mrs. Payne.

Our third graders are wrapping up state testing today, and we are so proud of their dedication and hard work!
State testing continues next week with fourth grade on Monday, April 21st.
Please help your students succeed by ensuring early bedtimes, healthy breakfasts, and preparing ahead of time for a smooth morning!

PRE-ENROLLMENT for 2025-26 pre-k and kindergarten now open!


Today PK had a special reader from the 5th grade. Thanks Riggin Patterson for teaching our PK students the importance of reading.


Pre-K did two different color experiments for our study on Rainbows.
