PK had an EGG-citing week! Their experiments included making Peep boats, tested if plastic eggs would float with different items in the middle, exploding dye experiment, egg stacking race, and Easter “Sundaes".

Kindergarten Egg Hunt!!!

Mrs. Payne needs volunteers to help at the food pantry tomorrow(April 18). We will leave school around 9:00 am and should return by 11:30. If your 7th-12th grader would like to help, please comment below or contact Mrs. Payne.

Our third graders are wrapping up state testing today, and we are so proud of their dedication and hard work!
State testing continues next week with fourth grade on Monday, April 21st.
Please help your students succeed by ensuring early bedtimes, healthy breakfasts, and preparing ahead of time for a smooth morning!

PRE-ENROLLMENT for 2025-26 pre-k and kindergarten now open!


Today PK had a special reader from the 5th grade. Thanks Riggin Patterson for teaching our PK students the importance of reading.


Pre-K did two different color experiments for our study on Rainbows.










MVG Elementary students spent the month of March learning all about perseverance: the ability to get through difficult tasks without giving up. We use perseverance every single day, and we are so proud of our Perseverance Students of the Month! Way to keep fighting through difficulties of all sizes!


State testing begins this week with our Juniors taking the ACT on Tuesday, April 8th. They will then take the US history and science tests on Wedenesday, April 9th. Read the information below on how to help them prepare at home.

Congratulations to Josey Carney for being selected as the OCA Region 4 Female Athlete of the Year which includes a $500 scholarship.
Josey has also been named to the 2025 OGBCA Small West All-State team!!

Mrs. Troglin's art classes are creating miniature clay projects! We have so many talented and creative kids at MVG! These things are tiny and cute and the attention to detail is impressive!

Due to the high winds and possibility of severe weather this evening, the JH and HS softball games at Cyril have been canceled for today 4/1 and rescheduled for Friday 4/25.

Last week our elementary students participated in "Coins for Cancer" sponsored by the Tri-County Health Rescue. A total of $810.34 was collected. 6th grade won 1st place with a total of $144.94 and Tri-County Health Rescue is awarding them with a pizza party on Thursday.
Tri-County Health Rescue provides monetary relief to people in our community who are currently battling cancer. They serve Mountain View, Carnegie and Ft. Cobb.
