Winter Formal is Saturday December 16. Outside guest forms can be picked up at the high school office. There will be no outside food or drinks allowed inside. If a student leaves the building, they must pay to re-enter.
MVG 4th Grade Academic Team competed in their first tournament today at CKTC in Ft. Cobb and placed first🥇🏆Congrats to team members Weston Heller, Eli Holsted, Collin McDonald, Emmit Gonzales, Coach Toni Newton, Sawyer Hooper, Riggin Patterson, Scarlett Quoetone.
Parents/Guardians of a 7th-12th grade student:
Semester tests will be Thursday Dec 14 and Friday Dec 15. Below is the link to the semester test exemption parent consent form. Completing this form does not exempt your student from their semester tests, it only permits them to be off campus IF they are exempt.
Students can be exempt if they have an A with 3 or fewer absences, a B with 2 or fewer absences, or a C with 1 or fewer absences. Students may be exempt from some classes but not others.
The bell schedule for those days is also included.
***Please note that students will be released and busses will run at 1:45 pm on Friday Dec. 15!

Your student uses a software program called Renaissance at school. This program has a special feature called Home Connect, which you and your student can access outside of school from any computer with an Internet Connection. Home Connect allows you to view information about your student's progress. It also allows you to sign up to receive email notifications after your student completes an activity or assessment at school.

Homecoming week is NEXT WEEK
Dec 11th-15th. Here are the dress up days for the week.
The Homecoming Ceremony will be Friday Dec. 15th at 5:45 pm with the basketball games to follow.
Mrs. Quoetone and JOM students helped celebrate National Native American Heritage Month with a demonstration of hand games provided by Hope Worthington and Carnegie students. MVG students also presented artifacts and Native dress to elementary students who also got a piece of fry bread. AJ Tahbone sang the Kiowa Flag Song and fun was had by all!
MVG has many students who represent 14 different tribes enrolled in our school.

Tomorrow is picture day for 3-12th basketball and student organizations. Players bring your whole uniform and shoes, FFA officers bring your jacket, and yearbook staff bring your staff shirt. STUCO, Academic Teams (elem/JH/HS) bring your shirts if you have them, and Elementary Ambassadors. Basketball players have your parent's number to give to photographer to see your proofs and to order.
