Homecoming week is NEXT WEEK
Dec 11th-15th. Here are the dress up days for the week.
The Homecoming Ceremony will be Friday Dec. 15th at 5:45 pm with the basketball games to follow.
Mrs. Quoetone and JOM students helped celebrate National Native American Heritage Month with a demonstration of hand games provided by Hope Worthington and Carnegie students. MVG students also presented artifacts and Native dress to elementary students who also got a piece of fry bread. AJ Tahbone sang the Kiowa Flag Song and fun was had by all!
MVG has many students who represent 14 different tribes enrolled in our school.

Tomorrow is picture day for 3-12th basketball and student organizations. Players bring your whole uniform and shoes, FFA officers bring your jacket, and yearbook staff bring your staff shirt. STUCO, Academic Teams (elem/JH/HS) bring your shirts if you have them, and Elementary Ambassadors. Basketball players have your parent's number to give to photographer to see your proofs and to order.

MVG student council members volunteered at the Carnegie Food Pantry last week and served 70+ families for Thanksgiving! We are thankful our students get this opportunity to serve their community and surrounding communities.

Another AMAZING Family Fest at MVG!!! A big thanks to our office and cafeteria staff for scheduling and feeding over 700 people today!!!! The food was AWESOME!!! Thanks to the yearbook staff and FACS students along with Mrs. Worley for the beautiful photo backdrop and most of all thanks to the families who came to share this special meal with your student. (Wish we could post pics of all the families but if you buy a 2023-2024 you will see your picture there)
There is no JH Boys game tonight (11/16) at Gracemont. They did not have enough to play.
There will be a 3rd/4th grade game before the JH girls starting at 5 pm.
The MVG FACS program was blessed today with two brand new sewing machines and accessories. The machines were donated by Barry and Teri Fuentez. Barry was a 1973 graduate of Mtn. View High School. Barry and Teri know the importance of a quality education and with their donation they are ensuring that students will continue to receive the best education possible here at MVG.
Congrats to 10th grader Meredith Pye for placing 1st in the Natural Resources division of the AFR speech competition. Meredith has now advanced to the state in this competition for the 2nd year in a row.
8th Grade FACS and FACS 1 classes have been working on making these adorable stuffies.

Here are some highlights from CKTC's STEM day for 9th graders. 📚
- They looked though different microscopes 🔬
- they practiced cpr, surgical skills, and looked for "tumors" on a sonogram 🩻
- heard from different colleges about science and engineering 🧫👷🏽♂️
- used VR to fly a medical helicopter 🚁
- held/touched a human heart, lung, and brain! 🫀🫁🧠
- practiced robotic surgery on a machine used in hospitals🦾🧑🏻⚕️
