Remember the food pantry services Carnegie, Mtn. View, Gotebo, and Ft. Cobb areas. An add bonus the Methodist church at Mtn. View gave a sack of school supplies to families with students as well.

Graydon and Zech, as well as their families, would like to thank each and every one of you that supported them with the sale of their Super Sweet Corn for their FFA project. In addition, they would like to thank all the communities that invited and supported this adventure. This would not have been possible without the support from each community and the wonderful and generous people that make up each one.
This project has afforded life long lessons for Graydon and Zech as well as reinforcing the idea that hard work pays off.
If you enjoyed the corn and would like for Graydon and Zech to return next year, please leave an encouraging word and be looking for posts next season announcing their return.
This project would not be possible without the generous support and encouragement from Alvin and Rita Hawkins They have sewn something into these boys that is greater than words can express, more valuable than money can buy, and an asset no one can steal away. Day 1 is in the books! Capitol tour, Library of Congress saw some of Thomas Jefferson’s personal library, fun supper, FDR, MLK, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and checked into our awesome hotel, and even had energy left to swim!

Mountain View Methodist Church Back to School Celebration! Join us on Saturday, July 29 for our annual back to school party. We will be providing free school supplies to PK-6th grade students enrolled in the Mountain View Gotebo district. We will also be doing a free hamburger/hot dog lunch for the kids, their parents, and grandparents.
Come join us between 11 AM and 1 PM at the MV Methodist Church on Saturday, July 29 for lunch and free school supplies. ✏️📓📒
Three MVG FFA officers attended FFA Alumni Leadership camp this week.

-NO ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES are allowed on or in MVG facilities.
- Gyms, weight rooms, fields and other athletic facilities will be closed and locked.
-Athletes CANNOT practice, meet, or play on or in MVG facilities.
- Coaches and Athletes CANNOT have meetings or “athletic” contact with one another.
- The OSSAA Dead Period is an opportunity for Athletes and Families to get a break and some time off from the grind of athletics.
