Picture Retake Day is tomorrow! Retake Policy: Bring back your packet and use a marker to circle the problem area on the largest print so the photographer will know what to improve on. The package will be replaced w/the new photo. If problems are not technical please send $10 to replace your package. If you were absent that day there are forms in the offices or a proof will be emailed to you.

You can buy yearbooks in the elementary or high school offices.


You can purchase the 2022 and 2023 yearbooks at the Grade School or High School front office. $35 each or both for $60. The yearbook signing is Wednesday, October 25. Siblings can share a yearbook.

Today is the deadline to put down the $75 deposit on the senior page. You can also pay the whole amount of $125. 8th graders are getting ready to read Harry Potter by getting sorted into their Hogwart's houses in Ms. Reeds English class. Ms.Reed received these books through a grant from the state of Oklahoma through Donors Choose. Ms. Reed designed and developed and online quiz for the students to take to be sorted into their houses.




SEND OFF for our Softball girls!!! There will be another send off by the school tomorrow morning at 7am!!! Remember no school tomorrow so all students, teachers, and staff can go and support the girls in their game against Frontier tomorrow at 11 at Firelake in Shawnee.

7th grade is learning about potential and kinetic energy. They did research and are building rubber-band cars to solidify their understanding!

Monday night the streets of Mountain View were GLOWING!! The JH/HS Cross Country teams partnered with the Kiowa Tribe Health Programs Community Health Representatives, and the special diabetes program for Native Americans for the 1st Annual MVG Cross Country Glow Run. This was a fundraiser for the cross country team and there was a great turn out. There was a 1 mile Fun Run and a 5K. MVG community members, teachers, staff, and students all participated and received t-shirts and medals. Special thanks to T.J. Tartsah, Coach Bohanan, Cross Country team members, and their families for all their help in making this such a great event. There was a raffle for a big screen tv that was won by Sheryl Davis and a $100 cash prize won by Richard Lee.

Mrs. Carney's 9th grade physical science class made "Oobleck" during lab. Oobleck is a non-Newtonian Fluid. If you apply a force to it by smacking or squeezing it, this fluid will become a solid.
Students love lab days and science!
