School Rules = Life Lessons
Rules aren’t just for school—they’re practice for life. When students learn to follow directions, show up on time, treat others with respect, and take care of their environment, they’re building the same habits that lead to success in the workplace and in relationships.
Every expectation at school teaches a real-world skill: responsibility, self-control, and respect for others. These lessons go far beyond the classroom and prepare our students for a lifetime of opportunities.
Let’s remind our kids that following the rules isn’t about punishment—it’s about preparing for life. 💪

Communication Counts
Strong communication between parents, students, and school staff builds stronger kids. Taking a few minutes each day to talk with your child about their choices—what went well, what could’ve gone better, and what they learned—helps them connect actions to outcomes.
When students know that home and school are working together, they make better decisions and take greater responsibility for their behavior and effort.
Let’s keep the conversations going! Ask about their day, listen to their stories, and encourage honesty and reflection. Together, we can help our kids grow into thoughtful, respectful young people who make positive choices—because communication counts. 💬

Greetings, Tiger Families,

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with everything your heart desires. If you utilize any of the school facilities over the break, please help us by ensuring all lights are turned off, windows are closed, doors are securely shut, and thermostats are set to an appropriate temperature before you leave.

Thank you, and enjoy your break!

Today MVG students volunteered at the Carnegie Food Pantry. They were also able to bring back bags of sweet potatoes, boxes of butternut squash, and peanut butter packs to place in the blessings box in front of the Senior Citizens center. Mrs.Payne took 7th graders: Easton Boone, Milo Dupler, Chaysen Bristow, Jefferson Pye, Wyatt Payne, Shayleigh Hazle, Teagan Taylor, and senior foreign exchange student Alex Niculcea. They were also joined by MVG alum Kaylee Henderson who is a freshman at WOSC.
