🎃 Happy Halloween, Tiger Fans! 🐯
It’s game night, and we’re ready for some fun! Let’s keep it safe, respectful, and full of school spirit—please—no running, football, or tag near the end zones, entry gate, or concessions. A great time doesn't need to be disrespectful or cause damage.
Students under 13 must be with an adult, and everyone should enter through the northwest gate (the southwest gate is for the visiting team and ambulance).
Let’s show our Tiger pride and make it a night to remember!
GO TIGERS!!! 🧡🖤
5:30-7:00
Any MVG PK-12 students in a costume get in the game for $1, and the cheerleaders will have special treats for the kids in costume.
If you have signed up for a trunk, the parking lot will be ready for you to set up by 4:45.
Here is a diagram of the lot. Remember, this is the lot north of the pool next to the indoor practice facility. We can't wait to see all the decorations you have come up with. You also get 2 vouchers to get into tonight's game.

Mismatched Day
Tomorrow is Tiger Pride Day!!

Yesterday as a part Red Ribbon Week activities, MVG 10-12th grade students participated in a presentation from CKTC’s Criminal Justice Instructor, Dustin Thurman. Mr. Thurman brought goggles that simulate three different levels of intoxication. The students were put through field sobriety tests. They were given the opportunity to learn statistics, the laws, and the negative effects of drinking and driving.

At Mountain View-Gotebo Public Schools, we believe that respect is the foundation of a great education — respect for ourselves, our teachers, our classmates, our property, and our community.
Parents, we need your help in reinforcing this message at home. When students see the same expectations of kindness, honesty, and responsibility both at home and at school, those lessons truly stick.
Take a moment this week to talk with your child about what respect looks like — listening to others, following directions, using kind words, taking ownership of actions, and respecting each other and property. These small reminders make a big difference.
Together, we can continue to build a school culture where every student feels valued, safe, and ready to learn. 💙
