Actions Have Consequences
At Mountain View-Gotebo, we believe one of the most important lessons our students can learn is that every action has a consequence. Whether positive or negative, our choices shape who we become.
When students make mistakes, our goal isn’t just to hand out punishment — it’s to teach responsibility. Consequences are learning opportunities that help students understand how their behavior affects others and prepare them for the expectations of adulthood.
Parents, we ask for your partnership in reinforcing this message at home. Support your child in owning their choices, reflecting on their actions, and making better decisions next time. Together, we can help our students grow into respectful, accountable young people who learn from their experiences — not repeat them.
Respect and responsibility go hand in hand. Let’s model both — at home and at school.
